Based on your situation, you may have legal recourse against your husband’s parents under Indian law. You could consider filing a complaint for harassment and for maintenance under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, and the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, respectively. Consult a lawyer to explore these options and determine the best course of action.
