In India, divorce for Christian couples is governed by the Indian Divorce Act, 1869. You would need to file a divorce petition in a Family Court, citing grounds like adultery, cruelty, desertion, or irretrievable breakdown of marriage. The court will then adjudicate the case and decide on the divorce based on the evidence presented.
