My husband and I are getting a divorce by mutual consent. We were married in 2012, so it’s been over ten years. My lawyer said it will take another six months to finalize the divorce. If I submit a waiver application, can I get divorced sooner, maybe in one or two months? My husband lives abroad and I’m wondering if he needs to come back for the second motion or if we can handle it through a power of attorney?
