My friend had an extramarital affair in 2014, which her husband found out about and they worked it out through mutual understanding. Recently, her husband caught her chatting with another man late at night. The man’s messages included “I love you” and other affectionate phrases. My friend claims it was just a friendly chat, but her husband wants a divorce. Will she receive alimony in this situation? Will the 2014 affair be considered in the divorce proceedings?
