My divorce case was settled amicably, and my husband agreed to pay ₹2 lakhs as final settlement in August 2016 via demand draft. Can he now, again in August, back out and say he won’t grant the divorce? What are my options?

If the divorce was settled amicably and your husband agreed to pay ₹2 lakhs, this agreement likely constitutes a legally binding contract. He cannot unilaterally back out of the agreement. You can seek enforcement of the agreement through the court, including specific performance of the divorce decree and payment of the agreed-upon amount.
