Under Indian law, the ex-wife’s accusation of adultery and bigamy against your cousin may not be valid. Since the divorce was granted in his favor without her presence, it is presumed to be legally binding. Therefore, his remarriage after the divorce would be considered lawful, and the accusations of adultery and bigamy may not hold up in court.
