It’s been ten years since my divorce, and I have full custody of my 15-year-old son. The divorce decree states my ex should fully support him, but he often falls behind on payments. There have been bounced checks and even times he’s tried to avoid his responsibility altogether. What legal options do I have in this situation? I’m tired of this constant struggle, and it feels like I’m begging for the money he’s obligated to pay.
