However, my wife’s lawyer and the bench clerk postponed both hearings to January 22nd, but the judge was on leave. The bench clerk said the 498A hearing is now on April 22nd but couldn’t explain the MC case. They just mentioned “petition presented and R1 (respondent) is present”. I can’t attend the next hearing. What should I do?
