Can a wife in India file for divorce if she refuses to comply with a court order under Section 9 to live with her husband?

Under Indian law, a wife’s refusal to comply with a Section 9 order to live with her husband is not automatically grounds for divorce. However, it can be considered as evidence of marital breakdown and contribute to the husband’s case for divorce on grounds of desertion or cruelty.
