Can a court compel a husband to take back his wife if his family opposes the reunion, even though Hindu law allows for it?

While Hindu law allows for a wife to seek restoration of conjugal rights, a court cannot compel a husband to take his wife back if his family opposes it. The court can only issue an order to the husband to cohabit with his wife, but cannot force him to do so against his will or that of his family.
