As a Hindu woman, I’m facing a terrible situation. My husband, who doesn’t work, is accusing me of infidelity based on messages he saw on my Facebook and WhatsApp. He’s putting immense pressure on me, making me sign a false confession and threatening me with his family. I’m a government employee and we have a 10-year-old son. I’m terrified and want to stop this abuse, but I don’t want a divorce, especially when I’ve done nothing wrong. I’ve filed a complaint with the police about the threats and harassment.

You have the right to file a Domestic Violence complaint under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, which can get you legal protection from your husband’s actions.
