My uncle knows I have access to his Rediffmail account because I set it up for him. We’re now in a property dispute. Can he take any legal action against me for logging into his email, and how can I defend myself?

Under Indian law, accessing someone’s email account without their consent is a violation of privacy and can be considered a cybercrime. You can defend yourself by arguing that you had his implied consent due to setting up the account for him, but this may not be sufficient depending on the circumstances of the dispute and the evidence presented.
