I recently joined a Facebook page as an editor, supporting the call for justice for a community facing persecution. However, the original admins started posting hateful content against other religions. I left the page, but I’m worried about potential legal trouble. Could I be held responsible if someone files a police complaint against the page, even though I’m no longer an admin? Also, my IP address is probably tracked by Facebook. Could this put me in trouble for the page’s posts?

Under Indian law, you’re unlikely to face legal trouble for content posted after you left the Facebook page, even if your IP address is tracked. You were not an admin at the time of the hateful posts and had no control over them. However, if you contributed to or actively promoted hateful content while an editor, you might be held liable.
