Respected Sir,
I have successfully completed all stages of the Central Excise Inspector recruitment process. During the final stage, I submitted my attestation form disclosing a criminal case under IPC 147, 323, 341 in 2010. I was acquitted of all charges by the trial court in 2011. Could this disclosure create any problem in my joining? Kindly offer your valuable guidance.

Based on Indian laws, your acquittal in 2011 for charges under IPC 147, 323, and 341 should not pose a problem in your joining as a Central Excise Inspector. An acquittal signifies innocence, and the recruitment process usually considers only convictions. However, it’s best to consult the concerned department directly for official clarification.
