My cheque book was stolen and someone forged my signature to withdraw Rs. 2,50,000. The forensic report confirmed the forgery in court, but the final judgement hasn’t been passed. How can I get my money back? Please advise.

You can file a claim with your bank for the fraudulent withdrawal. You’ll need to provide evidence of the theft, the forged signature, and the forensic report. The bank is generally liable for unauthorized transactions, and you may be able to recover the amount through legal action if the bank refuses to reimburse you.
