My brother, a head constable in the Delhi Police, lives with our parents and me, though on different floors. He constantly creates problems, threatens violence, and verbally abuses our family. He even physically assaulted me and my mother. Despite reporting this to the police, they seem to be protecting him. His wife and he continue to harass us, making it impossible to live peacefully. I’m feeling mentally drained, and my parents are suffering immensely. What can I do to get help and protect my family?

You can file a formal complaint with the Delhi Police Commissioner or the National Commission for Women. You can also file a domestic violence case against your brother and his wife in a local court. These actions will help protect you and your family and ensure accountability for your brother’s actions.
