I’ve been friends with this girl since we worked together at a private company, back in 2013. We’ve stayed close even after I left. But for the past couple of years, she’s been pressuring me to get married. I’ve constantly explained that it’s not something my family would approve of, but she just won’t listen. She’s got a bit of a fiery temper, and last week, she even met my family and refused to leave. I’m stuck because I know she wouldn’t do anything wrong, but I’m at my wits’ end trying to convince her. What should I do? I’m feeling very stressed.

You should clearly and firmly communicate to your friend that you are not interested in marriage and that her actions are making you uncomfortable. If she persists, you can involve mutual friends or seek legal advice on how to handle the situation if necessary. Remember, you have the right to set boundaries in your personal relationships.
