I’m an executive and recently helped a colleague, the office manager, book a flight ticket. He promised to pay later, but despite telling him to let me know 24 hours in advance, he only contacted me a few hours before his flight. Unfortunately, I couldn’t secure credit for the tickets, and he’s now threatening legal action. I’ve reached out to other agents for credit, but no one has been able to help. Am I at fault here?

Based on Indian law, you are likely not at fault. You fulfilled your end of the agreement by attempting to book the ticket. Your colleague failed to provide timely notice and did not secure credit himself, making him responsible for the situation. However, it’s best to consult a lawyer for personalized advice regarding the specific details of your situation.
