I met someone on Bharat Matrimony last year, let’s call him XYZ. After a few months, he convinced me to lend him money, playing on my emotions. Sadly, he disappeared after taking the money and hasn’t returned it. I tried finding him again by creating a new profile on the same site, and he contacted me using a different name, DEF. We’re now chatting on WhatsApp, and he’s still active on the matrimonial site. What can I do to get my money back and hold him accountable for this?

You can file a police complaint against XYZ for cheating and criminal breach of trust. Since you have evidence of him using different names on Bharat Matrimony, you can use this as proof of his identity and intent to deceive you. You can also pursue civil action to recover the money you lent him.
