Dear Sir,
I’m Deepak, and last year I started a computer embroidery business with a partner. After six months, the partnership dissolved, and I returned my share of the money. My partner then gave this money to someone else, who hasn’t returned it. Now, my partner is demanding the money back from me, threatening to illegally take ownership of my factory if I don’t pay. He is also harassing and stopping me from working, locking me out of my factory, causing huge losses. Please advise me on how to proceed in this situation.
Thank you,
Deepak

Deepak, your partner’s actions are illegal and you should seek legal counsel immediately. You can file a police complaint against your partner for harassment, intimidation, and illegal confinement. You can also file a civil suit to recover your share of the business and seek compensation for the losses incurred due to your partner’s actions.
