Can you explain what a “NBW” is in Indian law? Especially when the next hearing is months away and the accused lives out of state, how is this order carried out?

A Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) in India is a court order requiring the arrest of an accused person. If the accused is out of state and the next hearing is months away, the police would attempt to locate and apprehend the individual, possibly using inter-state coordination. The NBW would remain active until the accused is brought before the court.
