The customer service claims department head just informed me about some discrepancies in a claim. They mentioned a few things:
– Rs.275 for a scan without a report.
– Rs.200 for a consultation without a prescription.
– Rs.8870 of the claim was already rejected.
– Rs.2650 was not payable due to deductions from the main claim.
– There were no details for Rs.5000 in other charges.
– Rs.5000 for a Viscata procedure without details.
– Rs.500 for documentation charges, which are not payable.
Can you please advise me on what steps I should take and where I can file a complaint regarding these issues?

You should contact the insurance company directly and request a detailed explanation for the discrepancies. If you’re dissatisfied with their response, you can file a complaint with the Insurance Ombudsman or the IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India).
