No, Idea’s actions are not legal. Accessing your call logs without your consent violates your privacy and constitutes a breach of data protection laws. You can lodge a complaint with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal. You can also consult a lawyer to pursue legal action against Idea.
