My father’s pension case against a well-known bank was filed in the High Court 18 months ago. The decision is still awaited, but I can’t find any information on the courtnic.nic.in website. I tried searching by our names and our lawyer’s name. Could the case have been filed in the first place? My lawyer hasn’t given us any case documents, and we don’t even have the case number. Any insights on this situation would be greatly appreciated.

It is unusual for a case to be filed in the High Court without any record on the courtnic.nic.in website. It’s possible the case was filed in a lower court and is pending transfer to the High Court, or there might be a technical issue with the website. You should strongly advise your lawyer to provide you with the case details and documents as you are entitled to them.
