Yes, you can take legal action against the builder. The illegal basement servant quarter, extra charges, delayed handover, and exorbitant interest rates are all violations of consumer rights and potentially Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) regulations. You can seek compensation for financial losses, penalties for illegal construction, and legal action against the builder for breach of contract.
