My builder promised to hand over my flat within 2 years after I paid a booking amount of ₹5 lakhs. It’s been 4 years, I’ve kept up with the payments, but the construction isn’t finished. What legal options do I have?

You have legal recourse under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA). You can file a complaint with the RERA authority, seeking compensation for the delay, and also potentially termination of the agreement and refund of your payments with interest.
