My builder promised my flat by July 2015, but now says it’ll be ready by December 2016, which seems uncertain. I’ve already paid 90% of the price, and he’s refusing to compensate for the delay. What can I do?

You can file a complaint with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) against your builder for delay in project completion and non-payment of compensation. RERA allows for penalties and legal recourse for delayed projects and non-compliance with agreed upon timelines.
