Indian law provides you with the right to claim the full declared value of your belongings. Since the packer and mover company did not mention the 70% refund policy in the agreement or during booking, they are legally obligated to compensate you for the full damage. You can file a complaint with the consumer forum and pursue legal action to recover the remaining 30% of the declared value.
