You can issue a legal notice demanding completion of the project within a reasonable timeframe, citing breach of contract and exceeding the agreed-upon payment. You can also consider filing a civil suit for damages and specific performance if the contractor fails to comply. Consult with a lawyer to explore all legal options and protect your interests.
