I signed up for IndianMoney.com, a website that connects businesses with potential customers. I paid ₹1,200 upfront for 5 leads for my insurance business, with the promise of quality leads. Unfortunately, the leads provided were either not interested in insurance or had already purchased policies. When I requested replacements, as promised in their terms, they claimed their agreement absolves them of responsibility if a lead changes their mind. What legal options do I have?

Under Indian law, you may have recourse as the website’s terms cannot absolve them of providing valid leads as promised. You can file a complaint with the Consumer Forum or approach a lawyer to initiate legal proceedings for breach of contract and seek compensation for the unusable leads.
