I registered the name “xxxxx” for my website, but someone else already has the username “xxxxx” on Facebook. I own the trademark for “xxxxx”. Can I legally claim this Facebook username, even though he reserved it before I got the trademark?

In India, trademark registration grants exclusive rights to use the mark in relation to your goods or services. However, it doesn’t automatically extend to usernames on social media platforms. You can’t legally claim the Facebook username just because you own the trademark, even if the user registered it after your trademark was granted.
