I recently placed an order on a website called “Open2Kart” for a product priced at ₹1999, which they advertised as a special offer. They offered a free gift with four options, and I chose an iPhone 5. They then asked for a tax payment of ₹17000 and I paid ₹6000 immediately over the phone. They assured me the ₹6000 would be refunded within two days after the full payment was made. However, after reading negative reviews about the site online, I contacted them the next day to cancel the order and get my money back. They are now refusing to do so. What should I do legally?

You can file a complaint with the Consumer Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, alleging unfair trade practices and breach of contract. You should also lodge a police complaint if you suspect fraud, as the payment made over the phone without any documentation raises concerns.
