I paid an agency ₹25,000 to find me a job. They promised a job by a certain date, but kept pushing it back. They also said they’d refund my money if they couldn’t find me a job. Now, they’ve only refunded ₹20,000 and are refusing to give me the rest. What can I do?

You can legally pursue the remaining ₹5,000 from the agency. Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to seek compensation for breach of contract and unfair trade practices. You can file a complaint with the Consumer Forum or initiate legal proceedings in a civil court.
