You can file a complaint with the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission or the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. You have grounds to seek compensation for the defective product and the potential health risks involved. You should also lodge a complaint with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) for investigation and action against the manufacturer.
