I bought a flat back in 2012 with the promise of getting it by 2013. It’s now 2015, and they’re finally handing over the keys. But I’ve lost all interest in the flat and want my money back. What are my options?

You can approach the builder seeking a refund citing the delay and change in circumstances. If they refuse, you can file a complaint with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) or take legal action under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, seeking compensation for the delay and mental agony.
