You can file a consumer complaint to recover the cost of tickets and seek compensation for the inconvenience caused. You can also consider filing a criminal complaint against UPSRTC for cheating and for causing mental agony due to their negligence. The Consumer Protection Act and the Indian Penal Code provide legal recourse for such situations.
