Yes, e-commerce websites in India can legally sell the same product at different prices. However, if the price difference is due to discrimination based on factors like location, religion, or caste, it is considered unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. A consumer complaint can lead to the website being penalized or ordered to offer the product at a uniform price.
