What does BP Act stand for in India? Is it the Bombay Prohibition Act or the Bombay Police Act?

In India, BP Act stands for the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949. It is a law that regulates the production, sale, and consumption of alcohol in the state of Maharashtra.
