Namaste, I filed a police complaint on September 28th and was told I’d receive a court summons. However, when I checked the case status today, it says the case was “disposed” on October 1st. I never received any summons. Is the case closed, or do I need to take any action? Could you please explain what this means?

The “disposed” status in your case indicates that the police have completed their initial investigation and submitted a report to the court. This doesn’t necessarily mean the case is closed. You should contact the police station or the court to inquire about the specific reason for the disposition and whether further action is required from your side.
