My friend and I had a disagreement, and in August, a complaint was filed against me for creating a fake ID. I wrote an apology letter with a copy of my Aadhaar card, and my friend’s father submitted it to the police. It’s been around half a year since this happened. I’m applying for a passport now, and I’m worried about whether I should mention this incident. What if I say ‘no’ and the police come for verification? My parents don’t know about this case, and I’m really stressed about what to do. Can you help me understand my options?
