Your aunt’s long-term residence and regular tax payments give her strong grounds to claim ownership under the Karnataka Land Revenue Act. You can approach the Tahsildar and revenue inspector again, providing proof of her residence and tax payments. If they continue to obstruct, filing a case in the Civil Court seeking the right to construct on the plot may be an option.
