If the unions challenge LIC’s inaction in court, the court may issue a contempt notice to LIC for non-compliance with its previous order. The court might also impose penalties on LIC and order it to comply with the absorption directive.

Respected Sir, I appeared for the UGAT 2016 exam at Allahabad University to seek admission in B.Com. I qualified for admission under the SC reservation quota. However, during counselling on 07/09/2016, I was informed that my caste certificate issued in 2004 by the Tehsildar is deemed outdated. The university authorities stated they could not verify its authenticity online and requested a new certificate. The next and final counselling session is scheduled for 12/07/2016. Obtaining a new certificate in such a short time frame seems impossible.
