Under Indian law, a club can reject a membership application even if you meet all the requirements, but they must provide a valid reason for doing so. They cannot simply return the application without explanation. You have the legal option of approaching the club’s governing body or filing a complaint with the relevant consumer forum if you believe the rejection was unjustified.
