Yes, legal matters can be raised at any point during a case, even after cross-examination has begun. This is allowed under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 and the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, which allow for amendments to pleadings and raising new points of law as long as it doesn’t cause undue prejudice to the other party.
