My first wife passed away three years ago. We had a son who is now two years old. He’s been living with my in-laws since his mother’s passing. I recently got remarried, and now I want to bring my son home. However, my in-laws are refusing to let him go. What legal steps can I take to regain custody of my child?

As the biological father, you have the right to custody of your son under Indian law. You can approach the Family Court and file a petition for custody. The court will consider the child’s welfare and your ability to provide a suitable environment before granting custody.
