While the dismissal of your Intellectual Property case in 2016 due to non-filing of tax returns is unlikely to be directly challenged now, the old cheques could be a potential issue. You should consult a lawyer immediately to explore options for stopping payment on those cheques and to assess if any legal recourse is available regarding the dismissed IP case.
