Your friend’s threat of legal action might be baseless as your frustration with non-payment is understandable. However, using strong language can be construed as harassment. Focus on recovering your money. Send a formal demand letter through a lawyer, highlighting the documented transactions and the bounced cheque. This will strengthen your position and potentially deter further legal threats.
