A check I received from someone in Uttar Pradesh bounced twice. What should I do?

If a check bounces twice, you can file a criminal complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, against the drawer of the check in the court having jurisdiction over the place where the check was presented for payment. You can also file a civil suit to recover the amount of the check.
