My CIBIL report wrongly shows outstanding bank loans I never took. I’ve repeatedly asked them for proof, even requesting my signed documents, for the past 3 months. But they haven’t corrected the report or provided evidence. They just say they’re waiting for the bank’s reply. This forced me to take a home loan at a higher interest rate. Now, I need to get my CIBIL report fixed and seek compensation for the trouble their mistake caused.

Under Indian law, you can file a complaint with the Credit Information Companies (CIC) and the concerned bank for the inaccurate information in your CIBIL report. You can also seek compensation for the financial losses you suffered due to the incorrect report, including higher interest rates on your home loan.
