Under Indian law, disability pensions are determined by a medical board based on the extent of your disability. Rounding off your pension to 50% is not possible. You can, however, appeal the medical board’s decision if you believe it was unfair or incorrect. You should consult with a lawyer specializing in ex-servicemen’s benefits to discuss your options and file an appeal if necessary.
